"FYI, twelve public recycling containers are being placed on Main Street this week. These were received from the DEP Grant Program. Another thirteen are on order, thanks to Bill Letendre and the Parking Division.

Last night, the Board of Public Works approved new fees for the FY09 residential and senior vehicle permits. These permits are required to access the City's residential drop-off facilities. I have attached a spreadsheet [Edit: see here] with information about what some other municipalities in western MA charge for vehicle permits and some budget information.

The bookshed and Got Books system are working just fine. I think that everyone is happy with it now.

Thanks, Karen."
