On The Agenda Tonight: Hawley St. Fires, Pulaski Park, The Pleasant St. Theater.

Three meetings tonight, three important issues.

--5pm, in City Council Chambers, the fourth scheduled and final meeting of the Pulaski Park Redesign Committee will meet. The Tree Stewards of Northampton will attend to reitterate points made when they attended a recent BPW meeting, and Sue Crimmins, member of the Tree Stewards will read a prepared statement.

--7pm, in the second floor Hearing Room of City Hall, the Northampton Arts Council will be holding it's regularly scheduled monthly meeting. The Pleasant St. Theater will be discussed, and I do believe that Bruce and Rita Bleiman, and Silas and Linda Kopf have been invited to talk about their efforts thus far in that regard.

--7.30pm, at the Hampshire Education Collaborative on 97 Hawley St. a meeting hosted by Ward 3 Councilor Marilyn Richards and the Ward 3 Neighborhood Association, and in conjuction with the N'ton Police Dep't., the N'ton Fire Dep't., the MA State Fire Marshall's office, and Mayor Clare Higgins, will have an informational meeting about the recent rash of fires in this neighborhood, many which are being investigated as arson.
